Our Story
The National Union of Nigerian Students in Austria (NUNSA) was established on June 5th, 1964, by the first generation of Nigerian students who arrived in Europe after independence.
They envisioned a strong, united community that supports each new student who comes after them — and that vision lives on today.
Our Purpose
We help new students settle in smoothly by offering clear guidance and building a sense of belonging through cultural and social events. At the same time, our seminars and intellectual gatherings support both academic growth and professional development.
As a community, we serve as a bridge to the Nigerian Embassy and Austrian agencies, stand together in moments of joy or difficulty, and build strategic partnerships that create real opportunities for our members.
